Pep Band Info

The College Park Falcon Pep Band plays at all home varsity football games in the fall semester and is comprised of all band students in Concert Band, Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble. At roughly 135 strong, the Falcon Pep Band plays popular tunes in the stands during football games but does not march. Playing at football games in the Falcon Pep Band counts as performances and are a part of each student’s grade in their respective band class. Current Pep Band Nights are listed below. PEP BAND NIGHTS (5 TOTAL)

Pep Band Night #1 (CP vs. San Marin HS)- Fri 8/30 - Call Time: 5:45pm in M-1

Pep Band Night #2 (CP vs. Clayton Valley Charter HS) - Fri 9/6- Call Time: 5:45pm in M-1

Pep Band Night #3 (CP vs. Salesian HS)- Fri 9/13 - Call Time: 5:45pm in M-1

Pep Band Night #4 (HOMECOMING - CP vs. Benicia HS) - Fri 11/1 - Call Time: 5:45pm in M-1 

Pep Band Night #5 (CP vs. TBA) - Fri 11/8 - Call Time: 5:45pm in M-1

Black "College Park Instrumental Music" t-shirt, any bottoms, any shoes. See Mr. J if you need a t-shirt. 

FOOD/SNACKS

Our CPIMB will provide snacks for the entire band during half-time and 3rd Quarter. Students are free to purchase their own meals at the concession stand. We stay seated as a band for 1st, 2nd & 4th quarters! 

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES

1. Band students & band parent chaperones do not pay an entrace fee. 

2. Once we are at the football stadium, all band students stay in the stadium seated with the band during 1st, 2nd & 4th quarters. The band has 3rd quarter break with snakcs provided by CPIMB. 

3. Football games will end sometime between 9:00pm & 10:00pm. Parents picking up their students after the game should plan to be at CPHS by 9:15pm. 

4. Particiaption in Pep Band is part of every band class at College Park. Students earn their grade by participating, as this is a performance based class. Students that need to miss a Pep Band Night for a legitimate reason should speak with Mr. Jiménez in advance of their absence. 

5. Students will sign-in at Call Time in M-1 by writing their initials next to their name on the posted attendance sheets in the Band Room. There will be three lists; Concert Band, Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble. 

6. Everyone helps clean up the Band Room after the game. We must keep our music building clean & organized!
